From December 8th there's an ice-skating ring in campo San Polo. It's one of Venice's most beautiful squares, five minutes from Rialto, and ice-skating on Christmas day in Venice will be a unique experience!
Venice's Christmas Fair is in Strada Nuova: from campo San Felice to campo Santi Apostoli countless stands with typical products and plenty of inspiration for your presents.
There's also exhibitions. Among the ones dedicated to ancient art is Tintoretto 1519-1594 at the Gallerie dell’Accademia and at Palazzo Ducale (until January 6th, 2019), while the lovers of modern art can visit Dancing with myself, at the Pinault Foundation at Punta della Dogana, and Osvaldo Licini at the Guggenheim Foundation.
At the Fenice Theater, from the 12th til the 16th of December, there's the Romeo and Juliet ballet, featuring the etoile of the Montecarlo Ballet and with music by Sergej Prokofiev. From December 30th to January 1st is the Grand Finale, with the traditional New Year's Day concert, broadcast live all around the world.
